� BIMCO is looking to recruit a student assistant with strong analytical skills and an extraordinary MS Excel talent to work with tasks supporting our Shipping Market Analysis section, which is integrated part of our Maritime Politics & Economics team. If you are a quick learner that values a good and international working atmosphere and are at least to start your final year of your Bachelor studies in economics � you could be the team player that we are looking for.
� Attention to detail and quality is important, but at the same time you must be able to maintain an overview as well as an open mind to make sure that the right focus is kept in your deliveries. Our focus is macroeconomics, dry bulk, tanker and container shipping.
� BIMCO is domiciled in Denmark. BIMCO is a shipping association providing a wide range of services to its global membership of stakeholders who have vested interests in the shipping industry, including shipowners, operators, managers, brokers and agents. Accredited as a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) with all relevant United Nations agencies and other regulatory entities, BIMCO actively promotes the application of international agreed regulatory instruments.
� The BIMCO work environment is multi-cultural and thus the House language is English. It is therefore a fundamental requirement that the candidate has reached proficiency in English, either with English as the native language or be fluent at a professional business level, orally as well as written.

o Gathering data internationally
o Analysing data
o Producing contributions to reports and presentations
o Ad hoc administrative tasks
PROFILE OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE
o Finished second year of bachelor degree or more (e.g., polit, oecon)
o Previous experience from related student job positions preferred, but not required
o Strong analytical skills
o Being an �Excel-shark� is a prerequisite, added Access-skills will also be appreciated
o Proactive and independent approach
o Proficient English skills
